Angela Cork has taught for a number of years as a sessional tutor at Degree Level at UCCA Farnham, and visiting lecturer at Birmingham and Kent. She teaches adult education at Richmond and runs a press forming course at West Dean College and was a part time tutor at Bishopsland from 2007- 2016 as well as running courses at Central Saint Martins. She has experience managing classes of around 10 and has recently run a public course at the V&A as well as demonstrations through her Belton House residency, Studio Silver Today by the Goldsmiths’ Company.

One to one tuition

Angela also offers one to one tuition in both jewellery and silverware making in her studio to beginners and established practioners. This can be a short taster or a regular programme  tailored to the individual’s requirements. Tools and some materials are provided and Angela can discuss individual projects and tailor courses to suit what you hope to achieve. The cost for this is £50 per hour. Talks

Angela has recently given talks on the subject of modern silver at the Art Workers’ Guild, the Goldsmiths’ Company and the Goldsmiths’ Centre and opened at Studio Silver Today at Belton House. Angela is also Vice Chair of Contemporary British Silversmiths and was part of the senior management team that delivered its Silver Speaks programme of events to raise the profile of contemporary silver.
